Mikel Rycerz's Obituary
Mikel Rycerz, age 83, of Adair, passed away November 27, 2021. Mikel was born November 20,1938 in Adair to the late Stephen and Mary Rycerz, where he lived 82 years of his life.
Mikel served in the United States Army, worked at Ford, and raced harness horses. His love and passion was definitely water well drilling. Mikel started drilling wells as a young boy and proudly owned Rycerz’s Water Well Drilling. The boys will continue drilling as it is also their love.
He and his wife Diane raised 4 children Richard (the late Kristi) Rycerz, Mikel Rycerz, Walter Rycerz, and Diane (Tim) Larson. They had ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mikel was the last living Rycerz out of 15. Mikel is also proceeded in death by his wife Diane and Grandson Timothy Larson.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Friday December 17, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday. Military Honors will be performed after the service in front of Rycerz Well Drilling in Adair. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to wishes of the family.
