Mikayla Rae “Mickey” Widmer age 25 of the St. Clair County area, passed away April 4, 2025 in her home. She was born September 9, 1999 in Detroit, MI.
Mickey enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always available to lend a helping hand or a compassionate ear and she would drop whatever she was doing to help anyone at any time.
Mickey survived by her mother and stepfather Shawna and Chuck DeCaussin, father Dan “Pete” Widmer, brother Derrick Widmer, maternal grandmother Susanne Lydia Albee Pape, paternal grandparents Donald and Sarah Widmer, step grandparents Charlie and Judy DeCaussin, aunts and uncles Ione and Charlie Dawe, Dave and Kim Pape, Kim and Scott Kasinec, Renee and Thomas Noah, and Jim and Tammy Michon, several cousins, and her feline companion Butter Ball She was preceded in death by her sister Nicole “Nikki” Seczawa, maternal grandfather David Pape, paternal grandmother Shirley Widmer, aunt Sheryl Teschler, and an aunt Nikol Pape.
Funeral service 4:00 PM, with visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday April 13, 2025, in the Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 4601 St. Clair Hwy. China, MI 48023.
