Michelle Maben's Obituary
Michelle Maben, age 55, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully October 1, 2024 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 23, 1969 in St. Clair to the late Louis and Geraldine “J-Dee” Smith. Michelle married the love of her life Daniel Maben on April 27, 1996. Michelle was an office manager for many years with Hanrahan Chiropractic Clinic in Marysville and St. Clair where she enjoyed all her patients she met with on a daily basis.
She was the most giving person to anyone that crossed her path. She was very meticulous about her house and enjoyed keeping up with the yard. Michelle loved to travel and go on vacation, sit poolside, dance and was an Avid Tigers fan rarely missing a game. Most of all Michelle cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends.
Michelle is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dan; sons, Ryan Maben, Chad Maben; loving sister, Lori “LaLa” Freeland, brother Mike “Dirt” (Patty) Smith; mother and father-in-law, Dick “Pa” & Donna “NaNa” Burcham; sister-in-law Carrie Turner; brother in laws, Jim Maben, Mike Maben, along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Gwen Smith, Louis “Bimmer” Smith, Joe Smith; brother-in-law, Cliff Freeland.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday October 4, 2024 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Harmony Cares Hospice. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
