Michael B. Piper, age 38, of Port Huron, died August 22, 2011. He was born to Victor and Carole Piper on June 26, 1973 in East China. He owned and operated Kelly Painting Co. He is survived by his son; Michael Victor Piper, mother; Carole Piper, sisters; Julianne Boulier, Amy (Jeff) Hill, Cissy Maynard of Australia, Shannon Piper, life partner; Stephanie Ask, nieces and nephews; Amberly, Lindsay, Michaela, Logan, Lucas, Nathan, Gavin, Jordan, and Julia. He is also survived by several aunt, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Victor Piper.
Pallbearers will be; David Boulier, Jeff Hill, Lucas Hill, Logan Hill, Joe Posey, Jimmy "JC" Curtis, Chris Gabler, Stephen Gabler, and Jordan Rataj. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Posey.
Services will be held Saturday, August 27 at 9:15 a.m. at Young Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Visting hours will be Thursday from 6 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp.
