Michael W. "Mike/Mikey" Mackley's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce that Michael W. “Mike/Mikey” Mackley, age 64, of St. Clair, was called early to Heaven February 21, 2025 while doing what he loved most; working outdoors.
Mike was born on July 10, 1960 in St. Clair to George and Pat Mackley. After graduating from St. Clair High School in 1978, he went on to work for the Detroit Edison. After a stellar 41 ½ years of service as an
A-Operator with DTE Fuel Supply he retired in 2020.
In retirement, he most enjoyed spending time with his family and farm animals, working outdoors and hunting. One of the most generous and selfless people around, he had the most enjoyment watching and helping others.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; George and Pat Mackley, his sister; Karen Lang; niece; Carrie Kerbrat and brother in law, Roy Pederson.
He is survived by his wife; Annmarie Mackley, his children; Lindsey (Matt) Schwieger, Matt (Jessica) Mackley, Alexis Terzo, Alyssa Terzo and Leo (Jaclyn) Terzo.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Lydia, Heidi and Mabel Schwieger and Amelia VanKirk, along with his sisters; Diane Pederson and Patty (Tim) Shine, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his fur babies; Cheetah and Bear.

In lieu of flowers, Mike’s wishes was to have family and friends plant a tree in his memory for his love of the outdoors. To leave the family a message of comfort visit: www.youngcolonial.com
