It was a privelage to have met Mike and his family. Mike was our neighbor who lived across the street from us. He was one of the most helpful neighbors you could wish for.
He was a man of few words but when he did talk it meant something. His smile and laugh were worth waiting for. The thing that was most obvious about Mike was his love for Maripat, Michael, and Bridget. We moved before I had a chance to see Mike with his grandkids, but my guess is that he was one of the most proud Grandpa's you would ever meet. Mike was one of the good guys!
