Michael David Smith's Obituary
Michael D."Mike" Smith, age 40, of Marysville, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2018. He was born June 29, 1977 in Dearborn. He graduated from Melvindale High School. He married Melissa Leppek on September 16, 2006 in St. Clair. He worked as a industrial electrician. He enjoyed skiing, golfing, old movies, reading, and most of all time spent with his son; Jackson.
He is survived by his loving wife; Melissa Smith, his adored son; Jackson Smith, his father; Richard Smith and mother; Peggy Wilson. He is also survived by his brother; Jimmy Smith, grandfather; Joe Yantus, father and mother in- law; Wayne and Debbie Leppek, brother in-law; Brian Leppek, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and half hour at church prior to mass.
