My condolences to the family. I met Mike a few years ago at a golf outing. We won the first scramble that we played together in. Ever year after that I would make it a purpose to ask to be placed on his team. It was always a nice round talking about sports or people that we followed on twitter. Any Credit Union conference that I attended I always had to go find Mike to say hello. I have a few trophies on my desk that we won together and I will always think of him whenever I look at them.
My deepest sympathies to you, Sara, and your family. I only golfed with Mike a few times at the SCGC in fun events, and two of those times he brought Kylie. I am a Mom too, so it was fun to watch a good Dad manage both a great game of golf and his daughter too. Mike was a very good man and a quiet friend on the course. We will miss him there. Kathy Hopko

Mike, my good friend since kindergarten, you will be sorely missed. It is very rare and special to maintain such an ongoing friendship over 30+ years. We had some great times and shared some great memories.
It's only been a few days and it's already so strange to reach for my phone and not see a message (or 20) from you. I wish there had been some warning signs or something more I could have done but at least you are at peace now. We'll never have a chance to settle all of our ongoing wagers but I'll be sure to have a Slows Triple Threat for you! ;) Thanks for all the memories and you will never be forgotten.
