Michael Malane III's Obituary
On September 16, 2010 our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend Michael E. Malane III began his life of eternal peace and happiness. Michael was born and raised in Port Huron where he participated in Golden Gloves Boxing while attending High School at St. Stephens's. Eventually becoming a long time resident in St. Clair where he worked and retired from the City of St. Clair. Mike was known as the "lawn ranger", as he loved to keep all of the lawns in the neighborhood manicured. Mike's undying love for his country led him to the United States Army. Mike was an honored veteran of the Korean War achieving Staff Sergeant status, and two bronze stars for his bravery. While serving his country he also boxed for the United States Army.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, parents Michael and Verna and two sisters Donna and Bernadette. He leaves behind two children Michael (Pam) and Michele Malane, who will always cherish his memory. Michael also leaves stepchildren Susie Lester, Brian Lester, Dennis Lester, and Rick Lester. He leaves siblings Margaret, Joann, Betty Jane, Geraldine, Patricia, Theresa, Mary, Francis "Pug", Judy, Bill, and Marcia "Cookie".

Cremation has taken place and services for Michael will take place at a later date. We are forever in the Lord's debt for giving us such a caring and truly genuine person for 79 years.
