Michael D. Gilbert's Obituary
Michael D. Gilbert, age 41, of Marine City, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 15, 2016. He was born September 29, 1975 in Mt. Clemens. On August 20, 2016 Michael married Holly Leduc in Marine City. Michael was a union carpenter and loved both his work and the camaraderie of his fellow employees. Among the many things Michael’s family loved about him was how he enjoyed dancing and entertaining those he was with.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Gilbert; Step sons, Brett and Chase; his beloved dog Soandso; parents, Jay and Sandra Gilbert; brother, Matthew (Jessie) Gilbert; sister, Stephanie (Chris) Smith; grandmother, Betty Ann Conley; nieces and nephews, Sydney Smith, Ella Gilbert, Hannah and Jack Psink and Zac, Johnny and Riley Sock; Aunt Cindy Harmony, Uncle James Conley; sister in law and brother in law, Audrey and John Sock and many wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Melvin Conley and George and Esther Gilbert.
