Michael Charles Debano Jr.'s Obituary
Michael Charles Debano Jr., age 59, of China Township, passed away December 1, 2025, following a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 7, 1966 in Mt. Clemens to Michael Sr. and Marie Debano.
On May 19, 1989 Michael married Sharon Beier in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Casco Twp. He proudly served his country from 1984 to 1990 with the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves. Michael also was a 10 year employee for St. Clair County. He was an active charter member of the Marysville Knights of Columbus Council 9526. Michael looked forward to spending time outdoors while hunting and fishing. He was a talented woodworker and thoroughly enjoyed working with his hands. Above all he cherished his time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Debano; children, Michael III (Jamie) Debano, Brian Debano and Amy (Austin) Morris; grandchildren, Raelynn and Logan Debano; mother, Marie Debano; six sisters, two brothers and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Debano Sr. and sister Cheryl.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward’s on the Lake Catholic Church, Lakeport, Michigan. Interment will be in Burtchville Twp. Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Friday, December 5th, 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with a rosary recital at 6:00 p.m. Additional visitation will take place Saturday at the church from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to mass.
