Mr. Max G. Ranshaw's Obituary
Max G. Ranshaw, age 79, of St. Clair, died January 30, 2013. He was born March 12, 1933 in Barryton, Michigan to the late Clell and Anna Ranshaw. On May 23, 1953 Max married Shirley Monette in Remus, Michigan. She preceded him in death August 20, 2010.
Mr. Ranshaw owned and operated Ranshaw Excavating for over 40 years. He was a member of the Operating Engineers for 56 years and a Honorary Member of the St. Clair Lions Club.
He is survived by his children; Diana (Bill) Mullins, Michael (Pam) Ranshaw, Kim (Bob) Dundas, Mark (Theresa) Ranshaw and Melanie (Bill) Rickman, grandchildren; Anna (Scott) Roland, April (Jeff) Busch, Jessica Schlinkert, Allison (Frank) Toarmina, Aaron, Amber and Kristen Dundas, Marianna, Jacob, Joshua and Jeremy Ranshaw, Tyler, Lacy and Mikayla Rickman, great grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Austin Roland, Lindsey and Sarah Busch, three brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
Visiting hours are Saturday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
