Maurene Arlington's Obituary
Maurene Arlington, age 70, of Casco Twp., passed away November 18, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born June 23, 1952 in Maynard, Iowa to the late Morris and Irene Hurd. She married Tom Arlington on July 5, 1981.
She worked as an Advertising Account Executive for the Detroit News/Free Press for 29 years and retired in 2007. Maurene enjoyed spending time in her garden and entertaining people at her home. Most of all she loved time spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband; Tom Arlington and her children; Derek (Samantha) Arlington and Lindsay Arlington. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Derek II, Jason and Waylon along with her siblings; Barbara (Kurt) Orr, George (Debbie) Hurd and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandson; Cash Arlington and brother; Jim Hurd.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service.
