MaryLou McDonald's Obituary
MaryLou McDonald entered eternal life on August 24th at her home surrounded by her loving family, after several years of devotion and care by her husband Victor.
She was born on August 29th, 1936, to the late Justin and Patricia Biscorner
Her spirit is carried on by her loving husband and best friend of 67 years, Victor; their children: David (MaryEllen), Rick, Pam, Kathy (Brian) Meyers, and Karen (Jerry) Distelrath; 14 Grandchildren: Allan (Jillian), Jeff (Lindsey), Elizabeth (Matt), Max (Amy), MacKenzie, Ryan (Margaret), Brandon (Megan), Brent, Brad (Sammy), Heather (David), Kyle, Justin (Rachel), Haley, and Thiago. 18 great grandchildren Aidan, Elayna, Brenna, Olivia, JJ, Noah, Adayln, Connor, Lucas, McKinley, Jackson, Miles, Vada, Marjorie, Hazel, Piper, Kaylee, Chloe.
Sisters Patricia (Bob) Ouellette, Julia (Marsden) Murphy. Sister in laws Renata, Carolanne, and brother-in-law Fred (Pat) along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Reichle and brother Bobby.
MaryLou loved her family above all else and was always the listening ear for all of her children and grandchildren’s daily calls, visits, or FaceTimes.
She was an avid sports fan, and never missed a chance to see her children or grandchildren compete. Her post-game “token” to her grandchildren was always loved and appreciated.
MaryLou also loved to craft, sew, knit, and crochet; whether it be children’s clothes, barbie clothes, blankets, sweaters, or anything she tried her hand at.
She was a lifetime member of Holy Cross Catholic church and a 50-year member of the Daughter’s of Isabella.
A funeral mass will be on Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City. Visiting hours will be Monday, August 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
