There wasn’t a single time Mary didn’t make me laugh. Even on the worst days, she could always bring a smile to my face. No matter the situation, she would crack a joke and somehow make everything feel a little lighter. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.

I worked with Mary at Meijer, and it’s funny how you can grow so close to the people you work with every day. We were always laughing, always joking, and always sharing stories about our lives. Those moments meant more than I think either of us realized at the time.

Mary was truly a great woman — so full of life, even when everything around her felt heavy or hard. She had a light about her that made work brighter and days better. I’ll always be grateful for the memories, the laughter, and the friendship we shared.
