Mary "Chrissie" Wood's Obituary
Mary “Chrissie” Wood, age 50, of Mt. Clemens, formerly of Marine City, passed away September 3, 2018. She was born July 24, 1968 in Mt. Clemens to Lorraine Wood and the late David B. Wood.
Chrissie was passionate about music, gardening and flowers, but her time spent with the children and grandchildren is what she cherished most. Chrissie worked in the health care profession as an end of life caregiver.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Schrader; sons, Nicholas (Chelsey) Wood and Ryan (Kristen) Spaulding. She was a special Gigi to Ashden, Jordan, Allie and Liam. Also surviving are her mother, Lorraine Wood; siblings, Kathleen Wood (Holly), Colleen (Chris) Ellery, Matthew (Sharon) Wood, lifelong friend; Kim Demmers and special nieces and nephews, Amber, Samantha, Annabelle, Connor, Sheldon and Sylvia.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 6th at 1 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. The family will welcome family and friends two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
