Mrs. Mary E. Webb's Obituary
Mary E. Webb, age 92, of East China Twp., died May 1, 2012. She was born February 9, 1920 in China Twp. On January 2, 1943 Mary married Joseph Webb in Marine City. He preceded her in death in 1962.
Mrs. Webb was a member of Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She was secretary of Washington Elementary School in Marine City for 25 years retiring in 1986. She was formerly active with the Cherry Beach Senior Center and was the founder of the Marine City High School Alumni Association.
She is survived by her sons; Alan Webb and Larry (Colleen) Webb of East China, grandchildren; Rebecca (Nicholas) Toodzio of Eaton Rapids, Shawn Neal of Bowling Springs, South Carolina, Nicole (Bryon) Osterland of Royal Oak and Joseph Webb of Chicago, five great grandchildren, sister in law; Sarah (Ronald) Danneels and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
