Mary Lee Pecor's Obituary
Mary Lee Pecor (Pearl) born December 12th, 1961, passed away, peacefully with her loving cats (Chip & Skip) purring by her side on March 5th, 2025.
Mary was born and raised in St Clair, MI. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1980.
Mary had a heart of gold. Beautiful on the inside and out. Forever lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She adored her family and went to great lengths to keep a smile on their face and warmth in their hearts. She loved hard and worked harder, whether it be helping families keep an immaculate home, helping out at her son’s restaurant, decorating beautifully or assisting family and friends, she always gave it her all.
She loved to work hard, but also believed relaxing and having fun was good for the soul! She would shop till she dropped and dance her heart out to smooth jazz while cooking up a new recipe, then put up her feet with a good scary movie, a furry “bankins”, an array of cheeses, pretzels, Vernors, and blueberry pie. With her kitties at her side, of course.
Family came first with Mary. She adored her son, always supporting him with his music, career path, and whatever it took to see him smile. She doted so generously on her grandchildren and daughter-in-law. She cared so deeply for her parents and sisters. A truly beautiful person with a beautiful family.
Her last few years of life were spent relaxing and smiling with her family and kitties close by her side.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Pearl; sisters, Linda Stephan, and Kathy (Jess) Delisle; son, James (Casey) Pecor III; grandchildren, James Pecor IV, and Charlotte Pecor; and many extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pecor Jr.; father, Freddie Pearl; sister, Theresa Erma Willis (Pearl).
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Township. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, March 16th at Pine Shores Golf Course Banquet Facility from 1pm-5pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Riverview Veterinary Center 102 S 3rd St. St. Clair, MI 48079 810-329-4100
