Mary Jeanne (nee Balle) LaCombe's Obituary
Mary Jeanne (nee Balle) LaCombe, age 93, of Marine City passed away October 9, 2013. Jeanne worked for the Marine City Savings Bank and Michigan National Bank retiring in 1982 after 27 years of service. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. After following golf for many years, she started playing the game at age 73 and played as often as she could for almost 10 years. She enjoyed traveling, working the NY Times crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Loving mother of; Susan (Gerald) Westrick, St.Clair, Joanne (Kenneth) Kincannon, Royal Oak and Michael LaCombe, Marine City. Dearest grandmother of; Mary (John), Michael (Stacy), Gerald (Eybe), Christine (Hisham), Kathleen (Scott) and Sandra. Great-grandmother of; William (Briana), Jayne, Johanna, Nicholas, Molly, Emily, Michael, Gerald, Gabriel, Benjamin, Devon, and Eric. Great-great-grandmother of; Grace. Sister-in-law-of; Patricia Balle. She is preceded in death by her parents; Michael and Johanna Balle, sister; Ellen Balle, I.H.M. and brother; Michael Balle.
Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday October 10, 2013 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Private burial at St.Mary's Cemetery, St.Clair. Memorials may be given to Holy Cross Catholic Church or Holy Cross Grade School. www.youngcolonial.com
