Mary Agnes Morris' Obituary
Mary Agnes Morris, age 86, of Marine City, passed away July 10, 2020. She was born July 8, 1934 in Detroit to the late John and Madeline Ivers. On February 11, 1955 Mary married Donald L. Morris in Wyandotte.
Formerly Mary worked at the Detroit Gasket and also was a Dietary Assistant at River District Hospital. Mary was a friend to everyone she knew. Her big smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Doktor, Kevin Morris (Wonja Walsh), Jimmy Morris and Mark (Debbie) Morris; grandchildren, Christian McDonald, Jacob Doktor, Katelynn Phillips, Chelsea Doktor, Ashley Morris, Matt Morris, Taylor Morris, Zachary Morris, Lauren Morris, Hannah Morris and Emily Morris. Also surviving are her great grandchildren and siblings, Katherine Ivers-Corriveau, John (Theresa) Ivers and Mike (Mary) Ivers; son in law John McDonald and dear friend Irene Lindeborg.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Donald L. in 2003, daughter, Mary McDonald and grandson, Chad Morris.
A mass will be held Friday July 17th at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish, Marine City. Memorials may be made to Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
