Mary Ellen Koehn's Obituary
Mary Ellen Koehn, age 76, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 3, 2022. She was born March 18, 1946, to Clare and Hazel Mitchell. Mary Ellen cherished the memories of the class of 1964, who always carried the love of St. Clair in her thoughts and heart. She has been married to Norm Koehn for 54 plus years. She retired after several years of work in the optometry field. Mary Ellen was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Norm; sons, Mitch (Laurie), Mike (Lisa); grandchildren, Blake, Ben, Abby, Isabell; sisters, Sue and Phyllis; sisters-in-law, Sandy Michell and Carol Meyers, as well as many relations to the Mitchells and Lumleys.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clare and Hazel (Lumley) Mitchell; siblings, Janet and Fred; in-laws, Pete Goodenough, John Hart and Marlene Granet as well as many wonderful friends. We thank Mary Ellen for many great memories.
A funeral service will be Thursday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
