My Mother was a saint. She never swayed from her beliefs in life. I talked to her today, while looking at her picture that I have hung on my wall. Three things she told me in life have always stuck with me. One, David, never forget that I love you. Two, I only will give advice when someone asks me for advice. Three, take care of yourself because your son Jeremy needs you. RIP Mom, Love you always.
I loved Liz she made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. I had the privilege of giving her the first grandchild. I was young and could barely change a diaper yet she never criticized me and was always willing to answer my many questions. She was also a good friend to my own mother. I always admired her. Many loved her and she will be missed by everyone that knew her including me. Rest In Peace my second mom.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Mrs. Heilman years ago, she was such a sweet kindhearted and down to earth person. I know what a great loss this is for you all. I hope you can find comfort and peace in knowing shes in the arms of God. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Hi, I am Karl. I wanted share some things about my mother that many people may not know about. While in high school, she was the valedictorian of her class and won many awards in debate. She was a pilot early on and flew biplanes. She worked as a secretary at Michigan Bell Telephone in Detroit. She was a great stenographer. Although she never drove, she did get a drivers license many years ago. I remember teaching her how to back out of the garage. When we lived in Cadillac she used to make these killer homemade doughnuts. She also made the best homemade strawberry jam! My mother spoke fluent French and often her and her mother would speak French when they did not want us kids to know what they were talking about. My mother had the toughest and fullest of careers raising 11 children. She never indicated she would of rather chosen a different life direction. She loved her children. Many don't know these things about my mother because she was very "humble". She always bragged on my dad or us kids never talking about her own incredible intelligence and abilities. This lady was the kindness person I ever met. She gave up her house to me and she always received the first batch of Rhubarb from the garden every year we lived there. Thank you God for making her and sharing her with us!! Janet & Ken Canode
