Mary Ann Fraley's Obituary
Mary Ann Fraley, 93 of Gaylord passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. Born May 5, 1932, in Rochester, MI. She was the daughter of Paul and Casilda (Yeip) Biskner. She grew up with her two brothers and a sister in Marine City, MI.
Mary Ann graduated from Holy Cross High School in Marine City, where she attended school for 12 years with her best friend Janet Parcell.
On April 30, 1955, she married Francis Fraley in Marine City. They shared 67 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2022. Together, they built a deeply- devoted home in St. Clair, MI, where they proudly raised their five children. Mary Ann’s greatest work was being a homemaker, where her strength and unwavering dedication shaped the lives of her family. For the past five years, Mary Ann resided at The Porches, where she enjoyed lunch outings, playing bingo, and Five Crowns cards, immersing herself in her favorite books, and scratching off instant lottery tickets. Watching the excitement on her face when she revealed a winner brought smiles and laughter to everyone around her. Her green thumb brought life to their home. This was especially evident in her Christmas cactus, a cherished gift from her mother-in-law Evelyn Fraley.
She is survived by her children Michael (Lisa) Fraley of Vernon, Christine (Eric) Kosche of Brownstown, Toni (Howard) Biscarner of St. Clair, Jodi (Al) Rider of Gaylord; daughter-in-law Doris Fraley of Parker, CO; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Denny (Joanne) Fraley, Richard (Mary Lou) Fraley, Allen Fraley, Cheryl (Jim) Russell, Steve (June) Fraley, Christine Fraley, Loretta Fraley and Diann Biskner and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis; son Dale Fraley; siblings Nelson Biskner, Gerald (Janice) Biskner, and Maggie (Chuck) Grandy; brothers-in-law and sisters in-law Gerald (Delores) Fraley, Phyllis (Jim) Schweiger, Margurite (Jerry) Mugridge, Ken (Joyce) Fraley, Gene Fraley, Gaius Fraley, Neil (Phyllis) Fraley, and Melanie (Charlie) Priehs.
Interment and graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28 at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Sandi Jones, the staff at The Porches and McReynolds Hall, for the compassionate and devoted care they provided to Mary Ann during her time with them.
