Mary Elizabeth Endres, age 88, of Marine City/East China, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2016. Mary was born on June 27, 1928 in Detroit. She married Leo Joseph Endres on April 27, 1957. He preceded her in death in Read Obituary
I met Mary at a prayer meeting at Sr. Mary Verena's home in Marine City. Mary was a lovely person. Her smile could warm a room. My mom died this year on Dec. 1st so I understand your loss and extend my deepest sympathy to the family. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

My sincere condolences to all the family and friends that loved Mary. Whenever it was possible for me to make the gatherings at my fathers home, I looked forward to her greeting. She was the best hugger I have ever known. You knew you were loved when she gave you one of those BIG lasting HUGS. As a child I was always enamored with her kindness, you could hear it in her voice and the way she spoke, I remember that she always smelled good too. I will really miss knowing she is no longer present with us physically, but have no doubt she is in the hands of God keeping a watchful eye over those that loved her.
