Mrs. Mary (Polio) DeLaHarpe's Obituary
Mary (Polio) DeLaHarpe, age 48, of Marine City, died July 8, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 14, 1963 in St. Clair to Sam and Ruth Polio. Mary was a Registered Nurse working in several different emergency rooms.
On August 18, 1990, Mary married Mark DeLaHarpe.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Mark DeLaHarpe, daughters; Veronica and Julia DeLaHarpe, parents; Sam and Ruth Polio, siblings; Jean Polio, Sam Polio, Mike (Sarah) Polio, Elizabeth (Bill) Welser and Steve (Jenny) Polio, brothers in law; Mark Niemic and Dave (Monica) DeLaHarpe, father in law; Albert Norman DeLaHarpe and many nieces, nephews and two great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister; Teresa Niemic, sister in law; Susan Polio and mother in law; Elinor DeLaHarpe.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Church, Marine City.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
and Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
