Mary E. Beaudua's Obituary
Mary E. Beaudua, age 85, of St. Clair, passed away July 28, 2025. Mary was born March 9, 1940 to Ralph and Grace (Ulrich) Kennedy, who were farmers on Kennedy Rd. in St. Clair Twp.
Mary married William Beaudua on October 10, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2007. Mary was the last Kennedy to attend the Kennedy School and completed her elementary schooling at Bell School. She then graduated from St. Clair High School in 1957.
Mary was employed at the Diamond Crystal Salt Co. and East China School cafeterias. She was a member of the St. Clair Fire Ladies Auxiliary and was a proud wife of a firefighter for 48 years. Mary enjoyed volunteering at the St. Clair Historical Museum and embraced the history of St. Clair. She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Clair Post and dedicated many years to the St. Clair River Marbleye Classic. Mary was also an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Mary had fond memories of the family farm, where people would come to slide down the hill, hunt and watch maple syrup being made. The Kennedy family settled on the farm in 1853 and it was a Centennial Farm.
Mary always looked forward to her lunches with former classmates and museum volunteers. Over the years Mary and her daughters would take cookies and hot or cold drinks to the firemen when they were out all night on calls.

Also surviving is her sister, Christine Fraley; nieces and nephew, Suzanne (Jeff) Tallmadge, Larry Fraley, Amanda Fraley and Lavinia Henley; great nephews, Andrew (Elizabeth) and Ryan Tallmadge and two beautiful ladies she was very proud of Kim (Ryan) Hamme and Stacie (Jeremy) Cross, who called her Carol’s Mama.
