Mr. Marvin John Gill's Obituary
Marvin John Gill, 55, of Ruther Glen, Va. passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife Frances (Barnes) Gill and two children Thomas (Jackie) Carnahan of Rockville, Va. and Brian Carnahan of Richmond; a grandson Anthony; father the late Malcolm Gill, step-mother Barbara Gill of Marine City; mother Patricia Love, brother Lawrence Gill of St. Clair and two sisters; Lisa (Jeff) Cottrell, Marine City, and Candise Love of St. Clair and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother Melvin, and a sister Pamela Zelenock.
Marvin grew up in Marine City but lived most of his life Virginia . He loved watching baseball, football, and was an avid race car fan. He worked for Universal Ford in Richmond, Va.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Internment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday 2 to 8 P.M. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp., Michigan.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
