Martin Matthew Hurner's Obituary
Martin Matthew Hurner, age 24, of St. Clair, died February 6, 2015. Martin graduated from St. Clair High School in 2008, where he lettered in football and tennis. Because of his love of helping others he was also a member of the Natural Helpers at the high school assisting underclassman. Martin's favorite summer job was working as a lifeguard and swim coach at the St. Clair City Pool. His big smile and sense of humor made him very popular with the kids at the pool. He also loved animals and teaching his sisters to play tennis. His sisters were always the most important part of his life.
He is survived by his father; Matthew (Gail) Hurner, mother; Patricia (Ron) Hostine, sisters; Jordan and Olivia Hurner, grandparents; Lynne and John Hurner and Cathy and Jay Avery and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday February 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Friday 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
