Martha J. Delor's Obituary
Martha J. Delor, age 89, of East China, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on February 26, 2024. She was born March 18, 1934 to the late Conrad Sr. and Martha Rettinger in St. Clair, MI. Martha was raised on the family farm. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1953. She married Norman Grasley St. and he preceded her in death on November 30, 1960. On January 30, 1965 she married Warren A. Delor Sr. who preceded her in death on May 20, 1996.
Martha enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, cooking, and baking for her family. Her most recent activity she looked forward to was the season to search for edible wild mushrooms. She had an unlimited, loving and strong passion in raising her special needs daughter Marty-K. She loved animals of all kinds and would do what she could to aid the injured. Her heart was fulfilled with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her children, Norman Jr (Cindy) Grasley, Barb (Jim) Krzywiecki, Warren Jr. (Patty) Delor; stepchildren, Linda Clute, George (Angie) Delor, (Diane) Delor and many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Conrad; stepchildren, Carolyn Morris, Deb Dixon, Steve and Guy Delor.
A private memorial will be held at Rosehill Cemetery, East China. A Celebration of Life with extended family and friends will be given at a later date this summer. Memorials can be made to the wishes of the donors choice. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
