I didn't cry at all when she was at the hospital, I didn't cry at all when I heard she died.
I finally had my moment at the very end of her funeral. Looking at her and seeing how beautiful she was, was all I needed. I didn't have the strength to go and see her in the hospital bed. I comforted my step-sister Shaylyn,my dad, my step-mom Mychal and ther rest of my family. I have cried every now and then. I forget she isn't at Grandpa and Grandma's house and get excited to see her and then remember that she will be there but I won't see her. I loved my Grandma, and I always will. <3

Even though I only met Marsha a few times, it was as if I had known her forever. I will always appreciate her being a mom to Scott, and a Grandma to Jenna! It will be nice to know they will have another Angel looking after them!!! Connie Huls.

I would like everyone to know what Marsha ment to me. I was first introduced to her in 1993. I was 20 years old and not really sure what i wanted to do with my life. I needed a job and through my family got an opportunity working with developmentally disabled people. I met with my employeer and gave it a go. after 3 days, I told my employeer, i dont think i can do this kind of work. She told me to give it a chance, it takes some time to get to know these people. Before I knew it, it was a year with the ARC (at the time), and I loved it. I continued my employment for 3 more years, before moving on. Yes, the employeer was Marsha, and that changed my life. But even more important than that, i was introduced to the VanMilligan family. People like Mike, Shannon, Mychael, and Marsha. I moved on in my career after the ARC, but was never more happy than I was when I was surrounded by the VanMilligan Family. I just really wanted everyone to know what Marsha and family means to me. I am blessed to have known her, and am blessed to know the family. We need a few more Marsha's in the world. God bless the VanMilligan family.

Mike, Mychal and Shannon, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Marsha from when I was very small and though I haven't seen you all in many many years know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike and family..you know there is no way we will ever forget Marsha,and all the memories our family's have shared over the years! Your Memorial Day picnic every yr. was a stand out in our kids memories!! It has been a gift to have your family in our lives for this many years.
