Marsha G. Van Milligan's Obituary
Marsha G. Van Milligan, age 65, of Marine City, died March 18, 2013 after a courageous and valiant year long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born September 23, 1947 in Highland Park to the late Norman and Nola Longton. Marsha married the love of her life, Michael Van Milligan on April 22, 1967 at Selfridge Air Force Base. She was employed by The Arc of St. Clair County as a program director retiring in 2006. She was also a member of the F.O.E. in New Haven. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life.
She is the loving wife of Michael Van Milligan, beloved mother of Mychal (Scott) Fearncombe and Shannon (Mike) Furtah, cherished Gram to Shaylyn Van Milligan and Jenna Fearncombe, devoted Gaga to Isabelle and Chloe Furtah, sister of Kelle (Jim) Schultz, daughter in law of Ruth Van Milligan. Also survived by a niece, two nephews and many treasured friends.
Visiting hours are Thursday March 21st 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., with a funeral service to be conducted at 6:30 p.m. that evening. Memorials may be made to Pancan.org.
