Mark L. Penzien's Obituary
Mark L. Penzien, age 54, of St. Clair, passed away on October 14, 2023. He was born in St. Clair on September 19, 1969 to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Penzien. Mark married Karissa Schalau on July 24, 1999. Mark worked for CN Railroad for 23 years as a Carman.
Mark had a passion for riding his side by side, Harley motorcycle and snowmobiles. He enjoyed working around the yard at their house, also watching his son Shane play sports and listening to him play the drums. Most of all mark loved the time he got to spend with his family, friends and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karissa; Son, Shane; brother Rich (Tracy) Penzien; sister, Kathy (Shane) Peterson, along with several nieces and nephews.
Mark is preceded in death by his brother, John Penzien
A memorial service will be held Friday October 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Mental Health. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
