As a rather young naive Chevrolet dealer, moving into unknown territory, it was necessary to find natives who could fill positions of skill. God was acting in my favor, when He introduced me to Mark. A man of slight stature, the mustache of Dick Puritan, and the wit of Paul Harvey. Mark had the mind of a computer, and could reel off part numbers, inventory counts, and part availability as though he had just previously been asked. He was amazing! He always had a smile, a pleasant greeting, and a great approach to a dull day. Mark raised everyone’s spirit, and truly earned the admiration of everyone near him! Although it wasn’t for long, Mark was a wonderful employee, a great inspiration, and one of those few people you could call, a dear friend!

It’s with a very heavy heart we say good bye to our beloved Uncle Mark! We spent lots of time as little girls with Uncle Mark, Aunt Val and cousin Erin.. some of my most treasured memories are from our time together in Grand Marais! The summer the bat got into the Big House and Uncle Mark (bat man) had to chase it out, that same summer he had us girls convinced there were leprechauns living under the bushes in the yard!! Uncle Mark was always so kind, loving and silly. He made me laugh everytime I was around him, he loved his family more than anything! He will always be remembered as an incredible Son, Brother, Dad, Husband, Grandpa, Father in Law and my beloved Uncle! We will forever miss you Uncle Mark! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I remember Mark as a great dad, husband and neighbor. We shared a backyard and I remember him out playing with the kids, his smile, always a friendly word. I am so sorry for your loss, Val and Erin.
