Mark Harry Bratton Jr.'s Obituary
Mark Harry Bratton Jr., age 59, of Avoca, passed peacefully to the gates of Heaven with his loving family by his side on April 21, 2021. He was born February 8, 1962 to Mark Bratton Sr. and Nancy Hall. After high school, Mark earned his bachelor’s degree at St. Clair County Community College, graduating cum laude. After college, Mark worked as a truck driver for several years, he enjoyed being able to see all the beautiful scenery while driving truck. Mark was as man true to his faith. He was a part of an outreach group in California. In his spare time, he was an avid outdoorsman, Mark especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to sing.
Mark is survived by his children, Christopher Bratton, Jason (Kaitlyn Sobczac) Bratton, Keith Cook; grandchildren, Lauren, Bentley, Lucas, Alex; mother, Nancy Hall; sister, Barbara Johnson, as well as many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Mark Bratton Sr.; sister, Debbie; and ex-wife, Diana.
