I am so sorry to hear of Mark passing away. I am sending prayers for Mark and his family . Mark was a true professional in his duty as a Law Enforcement Officer using his skill to always help people and he will be missed.

Pam and Family,
We were all so saddened to hear of Mark's passing. He was one of the "Rocks" of the old neighborhood! A gentle soul, proud Daddy, and a true Friend. Bob so enjoyed when Mark would fly into Page Field and they could get together to catch up... Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Sending our love ...
Bob and Peg
On behalf of the St. Clair Police Department, I would like to express our deep sympathy to the family of Sgt. Mark on his passing. We are grateful for his many years of service to the community.
Mark was a colleague I met through Business Jet Managers. He was extremely competent and detail oriented as well as a big picture guy, both in his flying and management responsibilities. All respected him.
One of my favorite memories of Mark was a trip to Punta Cana with a three-day layover. The lifeguard boat chased us down for venturing too far from shore in a resort catamaran! I loved flying with him. Even when our career paths diverged, I counted as special the times I would run into him on the road.
One of the side effects of a small flight department is you fly with the same person frequently. And you get to know each other well. Mark loved to fly. But his greater love and devotion was for his family. Protecting them, building a quality life for them (including an awesome house), responding to their needs, and just enjoying being with them were his priorities. He was proud of them all, Brandon, Brooke, and their families. I had the privilege of meeting them and could see why he was proud.
He was especially devoted to his wife, Pam. He would share much about her as his rock and stability. If I had to summarize his feeling toward her in a Biblical passage, it would be Proverbs 31:29, “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all!”
Jesus once said “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go and prepare a place for you?” I can just picture Mark in Heaven, wanting to help Jesus build the house where he will stand at the threshold with Him, preparing to welcome his family to their eternal home!
We always looked forward to your Texas visits. We hooked Mark on Babe’s Chicken. To be remembered fondly is a life well lived. Love!
Mark was such a remarkable, kind man. Barry and I have many fond memories living across the street from the Blake’s. He was always the first one to call when I would get a call at work saying the Christmas tree was falling down. Mark to the rescue! On a funny note we remember him climbing a very tall tree in the back yard and not willing to get down. Of course we had to call the Fire department. He was pretty embarrassed about that. But really, you could not find a finer man. We love you Mark and will miss you! We will see you again! Keep looking out for us!
