Maripat Townsend, age 57, of Ira Twp., died April 7, 2015. She was born on December 17, 1957 in Charleston, West Virginia.
She is survived by her children; Michael (Tami) Townsend and Bridget (Matthew) Cartwright. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Haley, Carmella, Connor, Alyssa, and Owen, dear friend; Jerry Rhinehart, sisters; Mona Dowell, Robin (Lee) Juhl, and many nieces nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Michael Townsend, Sr.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13 at Young Funeral Home located at 4061 St. Clair Hwy., China Twp. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be given to family wishes.
