Marilyn A. Zimmerman's Obituary
Marilyn A. Zimmerman, age 94, of East China Township, passed away July 1, 2026. She was born June 27, 1932.
Marilyn married Herman Otto Zimmerman on September 6, 1952. Herman preceded her in death in 2014.
Marilyn was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City and the Daughters of Isabella. Her family fondly remembers her enjoying crocheting and knitting. Playing a game of Yahtzee or a card game (preferably poker) was something Marilyn always looked forward to. Marilyn also enjoyed wintering in Florida with Herman for over 30 years.
Marilyn took great pride as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. As a homemaker, she leaves behind a legacy of lifetime memories her family will cherish forever.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Mark (Ranee) Zimmerman, Dean (Eileen) Zimmerman, Scott (Pam) Zimmerman, Craig (Diane) Zimmerman and Kevin (Stacy) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Erin Forney, Erik Zimmerman, Kyle Zimmerman (Jenn Walden), Keith (Megan) Zimmerman, Kourtnie (Neil) Kohler, Rachel (Scott) McIntyre, Christy (Chris) Ladensack, Aubrey (Brian) Moon, Chad (Sara Golden) Zimmerman, Kalvin Zimmerman and Carson (Peyton) Zimmerman and 20 great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Brohl and Helen & Robert Regner Sr., son, Brian Zimmerman, brother, Robert Regner Jr. and father in law and mother in law, Herman and Tillie Zimmerman.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 8th at 6:30 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
