Marilyn A. Thompson's Obituary
Marilyn A. Thompson, age 95, of Marine City, formerly of Algonac, passed away August 13, 2025. She was born November 10, 1929 in Mt. Clemens to the late Nathan and Ida Meldrum.
Marilyn had spent her childhood years living in New Baltimore. She married Lloyd Thompson October 9, 1947 and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage before his passing in 2015. Marilyn loved spending time with children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Sharon) Thompson, Mary (Paul) McGeachy, Glen Thompson, Jeff (Gina) Thompson and Lisa (Richard) Sampson; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and brother, Vern Meldrum.
Marilyn was preceded in death by sons, Dale Thompson and Paul Thompson and sister, Leona Shovan.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, August 20th at 11:15 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Algonac. Visiting hours will be one hour prior to mass from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Interment will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.
