Meme loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids so very much. There’s so many memories. When I was little we would color for hours at her kitchen table. We would all color one page and then pass the book to the next person to color another. She always had those windmill cookies. And she had to have milk in her ice cream, which I do now. I don’t remember what meat it was she would make, but it always made these little crispy pieces in the frying pan and she’d always give them to me. She always had to watch the price is right. And she loved Elvis. I remember the Footprints in the Sand poem that was on her kitchen wall. It quickly became my favorite because it reminded me of her. As I got older the memories change to her favorite things becoming thrift store shopping, and the jewelry she loved to wear, and her ice water that was more like a little bit of water with her ice. Even though she’s not with us anymore, there’s so many memories, big and small, that will make me smile for the rest of my life. Love you Meme. So much! Love, Danielle, Haley, Bryce, and Lulu
