Marie E. Kizer's Obituary
Marie E Kizer, age 78, of Marine City, passed away May 3rd, 2022. She was born on December 4th, 1943 to the late Melvin and Mildred Emig. She married Paul F. Kizer II on July 27, 1968. Paul preceded her in death in 2020. Marie served as a noon aid for Belle River Elementary for 10 years. She was a den leader for cub scouts. Marie was active in Parent Teacher Organization, and she enjoyed assisting as a volunteer for dance recitals.
She is survived by her children, Christine (Clifton) Lewis, Michael (Jill) Kizer; grandchildren, Emily Lewis (Zach Thompson), and Jacob Lewis.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Marine City. Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, May 9th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. as well as from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at church prior to the service.
