Margaret "Peg" Ralston's Obituary
Margaret "Peg" Ralston, age 68, of East China Twp., died December 25, 2010. She was born March 31, 1942 in Ohio to Clint and Virginia Meece.
On October 24, 1970 Margaret Meece married James Ralston in Ohio.
Peg graduated from Northmont High School in Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green University with a degree in education. Later, she received her Masters Degree in counseling from Wayne State University. Peg was a dedicated teacher, counselor, and coach for the East China School District for over 30 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years James Ralston, daughter; Tricia (Sean) Kelley, son; John (Jennifer) Ralston, step daughter; Pam (Steve) Hunt, grandchildren; Jeremy and Connor Kelley, Charlotte Ralston, Evan and Collin Hunt, mother; Virginia Meece, sisters; Barbara Lee, Beverly Lenahan, and Terri Jones and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father; Clint Meece.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Dec. 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Henry Ford Hospice or the Marine City Scholarship Foundation.
