Margaret Robling's Obituary
Margaret Robling, age 99, of China Twp., passed away peacefully March 25, 2024. She was born May 6, 1924 to the late Rev. John and Sadie Crabtree of South Webster, Ohio.
During World War II, she repaired airplanes, helping the war effort as a Rosie the Riveter and radar inspector. After the war, she traveled doing evangelistic ministry. She moved to Michigan after she married Glenn Robling on June 15, 1951. Glen’s mother, Rev. Bessie A. Robling performed their ceremony. During her marriage, her focus was being a good wife, mother, grandmother, and talking about the Lord. She was a prayer warrior over her family, a devout Christian, and the family matriarch. She loved collecting antique glassware, crocheting, and doing puzzles. She became very good self- taught painter watching Bob Ross programs. Her paintings are in most of her family’s homes. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Paul) Boes; daughter-in-law, Colleen Robling, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; son, David; parents, Rev. John and Sadie Crabtree, and siblings, Margery, Alice, Leslie, Art, Anna, Paul, and Carol.
A funeral service will take place Friday April 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with visitation Thursday April 4, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. along with Friday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
