Ann Nichols was my mom's best friend. As a result, she was a big part of my childhood and I'm truly grateful for that. I will always remember Auntie Ann's kindness and warmth. She had a wonderful gift for making the people around her feel important and loved. Auntie Ann was a blessing to me and my family. We loved her very much and we will miss her.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Nichols family.
Sincerely,
Nina Danao

Please accept our condolences as we just learned of Anns death today. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.
My memories of Mrs. Nichols are vast. I would need so much room. My mom called her sweet Ann. She'd say she never heard an unkind word come out of her mouth. I think so often how every summer they would have me over to spend the day. You'll never know what that meant. On one visit when I was 7-8. They fought me how to row a boat. Theresa had a chance to go somewhere. So I asked if Mrs. Nichols wanted a boat ride. I rowed her out to the power plant. She finally said I think its time to turn around now. So we went home. She would visit grandma Bee when we went to cheboygan. I will never forget you Mrs. Nichols. Or the kindness of your family. I love you all.
