Margaret Y. Naki's Obituary
Margaret Y. Naki, age 96, of Marine City formerly of Detroit, passed away peacefully October 12, 2022. She was born April 24, 1926 in China Twp. to the late Leonard and Mary Osborne. Growing up Margaret lived most of her life in Detroit until making the move to Marine City in 2013. She married Frank Naki on April 24, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1968.
Margaret loved working, she worked for the City of Detroit and Belltone as a typist for many years. She was a fantastic cook and grandmother to her granddaughter Jennifer. Margaret enjoyed decorating her house, musicals, old fashion movies, live theater plays especially at the Fisher Theater. But most of all she loved the time she spent with family.
She is survived by her children, Brian Naki, Susan Nash; Beloved granddaughter, Jennifer Nash.
Margaret is preceded in death by her siblings, Justin Osborne, Henrietta Zobl, Robert Osborne, Mary Baker, Eleanor West and Thomas B. Osborne.
A funeral service will be Tuesday October 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with visiting from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
