Margaret Naeyaert's Obituary
Margaret Naeyaert (Nee LaCroix), age 83, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully surrounded by family November 28, 2023. She was born May 4, 1940 in St. Clair to the late Henry and Mildred LaCroix. Margaret married Lawrence “Joe” Naeyaert on June 23, 1957 and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1993.
Margaret took extreme pride in raising her 10 children. She loved to read, travel and go out to eat with her sisters.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Jagoda, Peggy (Jim) Ward, Lawrence (Colleen) Naeyaert Jr., Jennifer (Ed) Shoobridge, Jacob (Vicki) Naeyaert, Michelle (Jeff) Steffen, Rochelle (Carl) Wessel, Kathleen Naeyaert, Joseph (Heather) Naeyaert, Mildred (George) Hamblin; 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; brother, Harold LaCroix; sisters, Catherine “Anne” Westrick, Mary Blake, along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son Jacob Naeyaert; granddaughter, Samantha J. Ward; sister, Carol Vogler; son in law, Eugene Jagoda.
Visitation will be Friday December 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 3:00 p.m. a Graveside service and Interment will take place Saturday December 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Columbus Twp.
