Margaret Brinker's Obituary
Margaret Veronica Brinker, age 74, of Port Huron, died June 11, 2010. She was born April 30, 1936 in Port Huron to the late Irving and Grace Goulette.
On January 23, 1954 Margaret Goulette married Robert Brinker. He preceded her in death December 29, 2009.
Margaret worked for VNA for many years. She loved to knit and crochet and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her children;
Robert Jr. (Amy) Brinker
Gerry (Pam) Brinker
Tom Brinker and
Mary (Doug) Frishcosy.
11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters; Irene Burch, Linda Rice, brother; John Goulette, and special friend Sophie Wesley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Robert J. Brinker Sr., parents Irving and Grace Goulette.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:15 at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady on the River Parish's Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Brinker III, Scott, Tim, Mike, Josh Brinker, and Ted Vedella.
