Margaret E. Baker's Obituary
Margaret E. Baker, age 70, of Ruby, formerly of Marine City, passed away April 29, 2017. She was born October 9, 1946 in St. Clair to the late Eugene and Rosella Gargas. Margaret was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, Marine City. She was very involved with Life Skills, which she enjoyed very much. The time Margaret shared with her family was what she cherished most of all.
She is survived by her children, Gordy (Vickie) Baker, Colleen (Michael) Nitschke and Eugene (Danielle) Baker; grandchildren, Cody, Jordan, Tiffany, Nathan, Gavin, Kaitlyn, Gabe, Christian and Jacob; five great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Ann (Sandy) Denean and Veronica (Wayne) Visga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Baker; son, Michael Baker; grandsons, Michael and Alex Baker and sister, Mary Pikarski.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday May 5th at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 2 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recital at 7 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Additional visitation Friday 10 to 11 a.m. at church.
