Lula "Lou" Reynolds' Obituary
Lula B. "Lou" Reynolds, age 72, of East China Twp., died November 30, 2010.
She was born October 15, 1938 in Cottrellville Twp.
On May 22, 1956 Lula Warkentien married Gordon J. Reynolds Sr. in Indiana.
Lou was a bus driver for the East China School District and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, enjoyed camping with her family and friends for many years and was an avid snowmobiler.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years Gordon Reynolds Sr., loving children; Gordon J. Reynolds Jr., Gregory (Kim) Reynolds, Deborah M. (Bill) Thompson, and Lisa (Kevin) Carew, cherished by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, also surviving are sisters; Deanna (Richard) Woods and Donna (Dan) McPherson and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Lori A. Rowe, great granddaughter; Taylor Maddison, parents; Walter and Belle Warkentien, and other siblings.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
