Mrs. Lucy L. Schreiner's Obituary
Lucy L. Schreiner, age 95, of Marine City, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2012. She was born August 8, 1917 to Edward and Lucy (Beauvais) Sadler. She graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1935. On May 5, 1941 Lucy married Beal Schreiner. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1993. Lucy was a homemaker and also worked at Millers Store for many years.
She was a member of Our Lady on the River Parish, the D of I and the Community Pride and Heritage Museum.
Lucy is survived by her daughters; Margie (Charley Yates) Smith, Marilynn (Joe) Pavlov, Sheila (Dave) Dziedzic, Ann (Jim Prinzo) Anglewicz and Barb (Buster) Shawn, 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and five nieces and nephews.
Lucy was also predeceased by her parents, sisters; Helen Bassett and Margaret Durand, brothers; Father Alfred Sadler, Bernie Sadler, Leo Sadler and Norm Sadler and her great grandson Alec Beal Dziedzic.
Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Church on Thursday December 6th at 12:00 p.m. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church prior to mass. A rosary will be said Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Lucy's grandsons. Memorials may be made to the Fr. Al Sadler Fund.
