Mrs. Lucretia M. Meinheit's Obituary
Lucretia M. Meinheit, age 89, of East China Twp., died May 10, 2013. She was born December 4, 1923 in Falls City, Nebraska to the late Dennis and Neva Nixon. On May 18, 1946 she married James Meinheit in Hiawatha, Kansas.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years James Meinheit, son; James (Connie) Meinheit, grandchildren; Jennifer Inwood, Mya (Steve) Beauvais, Rayna Meinheit, Melissa Wickersham, Amanda (Tony) Pelitti and the Taylor family, great grandchildren; Andrew and Caitlin Inwood and Zaena Beauvais, sister; Nellie Schuler and brother; Mark Nixon.
She was preceded in death by her daughter; Deann Sue Umlauf.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday May 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. www.youngcolonial.com
